Dakota "86 November"

Welcome to Dakota Group's web site.

Our plane is, as almost all private planes are, named after its registration number, which is "N8086N" . The first "N" is used on all US civil aircraft, and we normally do not say it. Instead, we refer to the aircraft with it's 4 numbers and one letter, which coincidentally also happens to be an "N". In aviation, so there is no misunderstanding when speaking to Air Traffic Control, we always use a "phonetic alphabet" when saying individual letters, and in this alphabet "N" is pronounced "November", thus, "8086 November, which gets shortened to "86 November"!

Dakota 86N is owned by Dakota Group Inc., which is owned by a group of experienced pilots who fly the plane for business and pleasure.

For those of you who have been invited to fly on 86N, this web site will serve to familiarize you with our plane, what to expect on board the plane, and most importantly, how to get to the airport!
